Colörs is a rude and wild satire set in New York and Bucharest. A Romanian playwright accused of terrorism, a drug addict coming back from the dead, an old cop trying to regain his ex-wife’s heart and a group of friends going to Eastern Europe to get rich. This extremely funny play mocks those who would mock New Europe.
Peca won the dramAcum prize (the Romanian award for best new playwright) in 2002. He studied at New York University and he was one of the Royal Court International Playwriting Residents in 2005. Colörs received the Best New Comedy Play Award from the Comedy Theatre Bucharest in 2006.
