Holger Schober was born in Graz, Austria in 1976. He studied acting at Max Reinhardt Seminar Vienna and worked as an actor for television and for the stage. He spent time as Artistic Director at The Theatre for a Young Audience in Linz. After a break in his acting career through illness, he started to write for young audiences. He has received several awards, such as the STELLA (Austrian award for theatre for young audiences) and the German/Dutch Theatre award Kaas und Kappes.
